Welcome!! 'Three Monkeys With a Pencil' is essentially a blog of life. We do not have any fixed topic to limit us. Through these blogs, we shall share perspective on literally anything (our teachers call us nosey). When Abhiram visits yet another country, (he literally has wheels on his feet) he shall tell you all about that, when Shashank rides kilometers after kilometers (he says kilometers, we think meters), when it is the elections Anubhav shall provide you a perspective on that (he considers himself Thomas Hobbes, what can we do!) and much more. My name is Anubhav Mukherjee, the first, second or third of the Monkeys, the order in which you look at it. When you see writings on history, politics or current affairs, mystery or adventure stories you'll know it's me.

Doing this blog with my closest friends is indeed something that I am very eager to do. I am also extremely delighted to share this platform with our wonderful viewers. Words, I believe hold power above anything in the world and therefore we shall delve into the world of words, pictures and more.

This is just the beginning but I sign off with the high hopes that we are on the way to become one of your favourite blogs and a regular of your online.

Greetings and salutations, esteemed reader. My name is Abhiram, and I’m absolutely thrilled to have you reading our blog. You could say that I’m the bespectacled bookworm of this trio. I’m into reading, writing, speaking, just expressing my thoughts to the world one way or the other. Some things I get out of bed for are food, the tech scene, travelling, and just socialising. Sometimes I can get a bit ahead of myself, if this introduction is any indication. I’m one of the three monkeys running this blog with my two

long-standing closest of friends Shashank and Anubhav, the other two monkeys our blog name references. I’ll be touching upon a number of topics, ranging from travel to tech, from food to feelings, and everything in between. Along the way, some really bad puns too perhaps, so barring my awful jokes, I hope you’ll enjoy what I have to bring to the table. I’ll see you around for the first blog. Hey there fellow reader! I’m Shashank, a school-going teenager, adventurer, avid cyclist, aspiring pilot, motor/petrol head and co-creator of Three Monkeys With A Pencil. I write not because I’m a fan of writing or the English language, I simply write because it’s a good medium for me, personally, to accumulate and present my thoughts and feelings in

a systematic manner; so I think when you read my blogs, you’ll find that they’re low on fancy language but pack good content nevertheless. As I write this short intro, I’m clueless of what I’ll be writing about but I’m sure ideas will keep popping up in my head occasionally, and as they do, I hope to fully utilize them and write good content.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but since I’m a terrible artist, I’m better off writing those thousand words. As I embark on this exciting new journey with my two other pals, I am reminded of Albert Einstein’s words, “Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.” So irrespective of whether or not this blog succeeds, I hope you find it valuable in any way possible.
